The restoration, preservation, maintenance and repairs performed by MPG’s talented masons has ensured the longevity of countless buildings and structures throughout the region. Many of these buildings are registered historic sites, and several of MPG’s projects have won various preservation achievement awards. The masonry restoration and historic preservation projects MPG has completed include a broad spectrum of scope ranging from preventative exterior maintenance campaigns to the complete resurrection of dilapidated structures.
While brick and stone repointing and masonry cleaning are among the more common elements of masonry restoration and preservation projects, joint sealant replacement and brick repairs are also regular components of the scope. MPG’s capabilities also include stone work including dutchman repairs and composite patching as well as unit replacement or even salvage and reconstruction.
